NX League automates everything Excel cannot: real-time scoring, automatic standings, multi-court scheduling, and live spectator view. No formulas to maintain.

Standings
What is point differential (goal average) in basketball?
Point differential (goal average) is a tiebreaker: the difference between points scored and points conceded. It can be head-to-head (between tied teams) or overall (all pool games).
What is the difference between head-to-head and overall point differential?
Head-to-head point differential only counts games between tied teams. Overall point differential counts all pool games. FIBA uses head-to-head first.
How many points for a win in basketball?
In NX League's default settings: 2 points for a win, 1 for a draw, 0 for a loss. You can customize this in tournament settings.
How are standings ties broken?
Ties are broken in this order: head-to-head result, head-to-head point differential, overall point differential, total points scored.
How to calculate head-to-head point differential?
Head-to-head point differential = (points scored - points conceded) in games between tied teams only. FIBA uses this as the primary tiebreaker before overall point differential.
Tournament formats
What is a basketball pool?
A pool (poule) is a group of teams that all play against each other in a round-robin format. After all games, the top teams advance to the playoff bracket.
How many games in a pool of 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 teams?
Use the formula n×(n−1)/2: 4 teams = 6 games, 5 = 10, 6 = 15, 7 = 21, 8 = 28 games per pool.
What is a tournament bracket?
A tournament bracket (tableau) is the elimination tree: winners advance, losers are out. Common formats: single elimination (1 loss = out), double elimination (2 losses = out).
How does double elimination work in basketball?
A team must lose twice to be eliminated. Winners bracket and losers bracket run in parallel. The losers bracket winner faces the winners bracket champion in the final.
